Hello!!
After four months on tour with Mum’s The Word 2: Teenagers, I am back home to regroup. What a great show it was to do, and what wonderful people I met and, reconnected with over that time.
Lots of reasons to come to the Yarra Valley at this time of year; Shed Fest on the the weekend of October 10 & 11, if you are a wine buff. The Little Yarra Steiner Fair, not to be missed, is on October 26 The Yarra Valley markets are great fun. There’s Mont Delancy, Yarra Glen, Yering Station, Gulf Station, Healesville Racecourse Market and St Andrews Markets, just to mention a few.
TarraWarra Estate is one our favourite places to go - last month we caught the ’Lost & Found’ exhibition as part of their Biennial. Beautiful work and just the place to have lunch. The food and the views, along with the wines, are outstanding (as a non-drinker, I can tell you my husband loves the wines!)
And if you visit, stay at our latest venture, Riverdell Retreat!! It is proving popular with guests. This feedback from Gaye & Doug:
“It was truly ab fab to spend some time with you guys....Gosh, I can't think of anything more you could do to make it better. We loved the attention to detail like the candles on arrival, the basket of goodies, your integrity towards your beliefs and following through with everything from the food to the cleaning stuff. As far as we can think, it was perfect.”
Read more about Riverdell on this site. We're in the process of setting up a day spa, to further enhance your visit!
My husband David's bespoke coffee tables are available at the Rose St Artists Market in Fitzroy, every Saturday. And check out his other timber products - his wine racks can be created to fit YOUR space at home. And for those of who love earrings, David makes stunning earring stands. (And.. on some Saturdays, you can even pick up some of my earring collection from around the world!) All details on www.yarravalleycoffeetables.com.au
Facebook is connecting and reconnecting me with an amazing array of friends new and old! It's lovely the way it brings people together.
Until next month, be happy!
Love, Tracy
