Corporate Services: Emcee
Taking a break from MCing the Fire Volunteer's Thank You bash. A song interlude with Bobby Valentine.
Launching Claire Halliday's book "Do You Want Sex with That?"
The role of the Master of Ceremonies is to gauge, and engage an audience, control proceedings, and ensure the event or meeting unfolds according to plan. And runs on time! This is a role at which Tracy Bartram is not only accomplished, but for which she was born.
She can be formal or funny, educational or motivational. Simply let Tracy know your requirements and she works with you to ensure goals aren't just achieved but surpassed.
She is the presenter of all the Melbourne Corporate Luncheons at the Sofitel Melbourne, a joint venture between Saxton Speakers and the Sofitel, supporting Scouts Victoria.
Her clients have included:
- Saab Australia
- The Age Newspaper
- City of Melbourne
- Australian Institute of Management
- The Victorian Women's Trust
- State Government of Victoria
- YMCA Victoria
Tracy is also the "face" of Melbourne Jazz, and emcees both their press launches each year, including the prestigious Melbourne Jazz Bell Awards.
Tracy prepares for each function individually, and takes a full brief from each client, encompassing their goals for the function and the tone of the event.
Her extensive experience as a performer gives her an edge and insight into stagecraft, and these skills ensure that your event will be seamless.
Her background as a radio interviewer gives you a comedian as well as a serious performer, who can fill the gaps and ad lib at a moment's notice.
And - it will finish on time. Tracy's on-the-run time-keeping skills ensure that your function's venue hire/staff budget is maintained, while at the same time, dragging out the hook for speakers who insist on running over time! In a loving way, of course!
Testimonials:
I invited Tracy to be the MC at the launch of my book, Do You Want Sex With That? and it was a great decision.
The mention of her name can divide some people but, whether they were
'fans' or not, everyone at my launch was in the palm of her hand -
which was great for me as it got everyone in tune with my 'product' in
a way that was really special and engaging. She knew exactly how to
handle the crowd - humour when it was needed, not just for the sake of
trying to get a laugh.
What meant the most to me was her preparation. She had actually read my
book - cover to cover - and it was obvious in the way she spoke about
it and me. She didn't come in as some personality who had been hired
merely to pretend she knew what she was talking about - she really did
know and was also able to comment warmly and personally about what she
had read and encourage others to read it too. That's a great thing for
an author hoping to sell books!
So many people commented to me afterward about how wonderful they
thought she was. She helped ease my own nerves about the whole
experience and made me feel confident about my own product because I
knew she believed in it. It turned a potentially nerve-wracking event
in a smoothly run, fun and successful time. People listened, people
lingered and, most importantly, people bought the product.

With Nanette Moulton of Saxton Speakers Bureau
"Being a master of ceremonies is very much an art
form - it means making the programme run smoothly, being able to
seamlessly allow for spur of the moment changes and adding the control
that puts the organiser at ease. Tracy Bartram is all of that and more
... she makes everyone feel special and provides a unique energy and
enthusiasm that others simply aspire too. Moreover she also has the
ability to deliver a motivational keynote, an entertaining after dinner
presentation or even settle in to one of her first loves ... jazz and
Tracy is an exceptional singer. To say that Tracy Bartram is the
consummate MC is absolutely correct but she is also the consummate
corporate entertainer and presenter ... when it comes to versatility
and quality she has few peers."

"With a full day to assess the response to last night is seems that all the punters went home happy which is a great result given that they're not the easiest audience to impress.
My sincere thanks to you for a job well done. From my perspective you delivered in equal parts as host/MC and entertainer. And the research was well worth the effort as the 5 bug-bears of newsagents certainly struck a chord."
Steve Kynoch
The Age, Annual Newsagents Dinner, Crown Palladium
"It was a great evening, and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
And you Ms. Bartram were superb, as we knew you would be. We down at the 888 office were certainly very chuffed and excited to have engaged you as our MC. The honour and privilege is ours thanks again."
